Michael Jackson has become the word of the day, minute, and hour. The press has MJ’s name everywhere!
Congressman Pete King went on a rant demoralizing Jackson as a person. Unless the congressman know’s Michael as a person I don’t believe he has a right to say anything of that nature. King talked on issue’s he was ignorant in.

How can King discredit the media for covering the death of MJ by regurgitating former media propaganda?

I dont think he was saying that the meadia was bad what i get from his comments is that he was making them on july 4th the usa independant day and he was saying all the coverage was ago jackson and not the people fighting in Iraq and afganastan and that they were the real heros not jackson

The delivery of his message is what I question. The issue’s in which he speaks is not what I am disputing. King is a congressman, a man who represents the people, a man who people listen to. If he is going to speak of issues, he should speak on facts! Attacking the character of a man who can’t defend himself is shameful. Attacking a man who can’t defend himself, and in the public forum in which his family can hear is disgraceful.
Do I feel the media has sold out and doesn’t represent integratey? Yes, instead of reporting the news they report on what makes the ratings.

Instead of people talking about the real hero’s of america (the message Petey Boy was trying to make) we are talking about MJ.
I do not care about what happened to Mike, I do not care what people say he did, but I do care Pete’s message was lost.
Instead of sticking to the facts King’s message was lost in meaningless propaganda.
